You’ll find all you need to know about our homebrewing classes right here:

  • Homebrew Classes are held at our shop Chicago Brew Werks 14903 S. Center Street Plainfield, IL 604544
  • Brewing Class dates and times will be posted here, in our newsletter, Eventbrite, and on Facebook
  • We like to keep home brewing classes small, this means a laid-back, fun learning environment
  • Pre-Registration is required for all brewing classes and because classes are small, they sell out quick
  • You will experience hands on demonstrations and be able to get all your questions answered.
 LEARN TO BREW | ALL-GRAIN BREWING 101
When: Saturday March 4th from 10:30AM – 2:30PM
This brewing class will cover the fundamentals of all grain brewing and equipment needed to successfully brew beer without using malt extract. You’ll see a live all grain brewing demonstration and learn some tips and tricks along the way.
Class length is approx. 3.5-4hrs. $30/person
INTRODOCUTION TO SOURS FOR BEGINNERS
When: Wednesday March 8th from 6:00 – 7:00pm
What is sour beer? We’ll cover a brief history of sour beers, what makes beer sour, and explore attributes and characteristics of a variety of souring techniques. Please note we will not be going into depth on how to brew your own sour beer – we’ll save that for the next class – this class is designed for a basic overview and understanding of sour beer.
Class length is approx. 45min – 1hr. $15/person

LEARN TO BREW | EXTRACT BREWING 101

When: Sunday March 19th, 2016 11:00AM – 2:00PM

This intro to home brewing class will cover the fundamentals of brewing, cleaning and proper sanitation techniques. You’ll see how easy it is to brew beer at home and learn some tips and tricks along the way.

Class is approx. 3hrs. $20/person

KEGGING 101 

When: Wednesday March 22nd from 6:00pm – 7:00pm

Welcome to the world of kegging – we’ll cover all things kegging: equipment, carbonation and serving.

Class is approx. 45min. $10/person
